Popular girl group KARA will be recruiting new members.

On May 12 KARA’s agency DSP Entertainment announced that KARA will have new members join its current roster of Park Gyu Ri, Han Seung Yeon, and Goo Hara.

DSP stated that “after discussing to lengths with the current KARA members Gyuri, Seungyeon, and Hara, we have decided to recruit new members. While looking for a suitable method of recruiting members that will please the fans, we thought of “KARA Project” where fans will have a say in choosing the new members.”

Exactly how many new members will join KARA will be revealed through “KARA Project,” a six-episode show that will record the process.

Seven DSP trainees will be participating in “KARA Project,” forming a seven-member project team Baby KARA and carrying out various missions to become a new member of KARA. It will be aired on music cable channel MBC Music.

The show will be six episodes long and the final episode will be broadcasted live, during which fans will be able to vote for the new member.

KARA became a three-member group after Kang Ji Young and Nicole left the group.
