On June 4, new still cuts of Ji Hyun Woo and Jung Eun Ji from the set of KBS2’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Trot Lovers” were revealed. Despite the fact that it was their very first scene together, they appeared to be very comfortable and friendly with one another.
In the drama, Ji Hyun Woo plays the role of Jang Jun Hyun, an arrogant, genius musician, while Eun Ji’s character, Choi Chun Hee, an aspiring trot singer who gives her all for the sake of her dream and her family. The drama’s storyline will draw out a lovely romance between the two characters, as they overcome obstacles together.
Ji Hyun Woo and Eun Ji recently filmed for “Trot Lovers” in Hannam-dong and other locations near the Han River. Throughout filming, they were seen taking care of one another and enjoying the cheerful atmosphere on set. Even when cameras weren’t rolling, the two of them practiced lines together and shared their acting concerns with each other, in between takes.
Expectations are rising for the love story that will unfold between the actors, as they have shown their ability to bring out their own individual personalities while still harmonizing their acting together.
A representative of “Trot Lovers” shared, “Even though it is Ji Hyun Woo and Jung Eun Ji’s first drama together, they are displaying exceptional compatibility. They are always energetic and smiling brightly, so look forward to their special teamwork.”
“Trot Lovers” will be airing its first episode on June 23, following the completion of “Big Man,” which recently recorded its highest viewer rating yet.
