On the July 25 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” Super Junior-M’s Henry revealed what inspired him to begin singing and dancing.
The multi-talented singer who can play a variety of musical instruments including violin and piano showed an explosive stage on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.” Henry performed his latest track “Fantastic” and even performed his own rendition of “Let It Go,” the hit Disney track from the animated film “Frozen.”
After, he sat down for an interview with the veteran singer and producer wherein he talked about how he got into dancing and singing, among other things.
“I started learning (music) from when I was six years old and at that time, I hated it. My mom had to force me and I only started liking it (music) from when I was ten years old,” opened Henry.
“At that time, I entered my first violin and piano contest and I got first place. I thought, ‘This is really pretty good,’ and after middle school, my friend was dancing and he was pretty popular among the girls,” added Henry. “I thought I should dance and sing so I started singing and dancing in high school. Because of a girl.
