TaeTiSeo was the very first sub-unit of Girls’ Generation, formed in 2012, five years since the group’s debut in 2007. The sub-unit released their mini album “Twinkle” in April of 2012, and the title song of the same name, swept online music charts as soon as it was released. “Twinkle” especially received attention for being the first girl group sub-unit to rank number one for three consecutive weeks (triple crown) on every music program.
The three members of Girls’ Generation earned much popularity—comparable to the popularity of the entire group—and fans have been anticipating their comeback since the end of their “Twinkle” promotions.
Along with the news of TaeTiSeo’s September comeback, it has also been revealed that they are in the final stages of preparation for the upcoming album.
A representative of the music industry stated, “I know that TaeTiSeo recently wrapped up recording for the new album. The album’s basic concept has been confirmed and they plan on going into the jacket and music video shoot soon.”
Many people are looking forward to what kind of song the sub-unit will comeback with after two years and five months. A source who has already heard the new title song shared, “It’s a dance song with a more cheerful rhythm than ‘Twinkle.’ You can expect an upgraded dance number full of the three members’ charming vocals. I’ve heard that the TaeTiSeo members especially participated a lot in this new album. Not just the title song, but every other track in this album is high in quality.”
