Just a short while ago, an alarming post appeared on Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica‘s Weibo account, saying that she has been forced out the the group.

“I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I’m no longer a member. I’m devastated – my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out.”

The message was posted both in English and Korean. As it is still early in the morning for Korea, there has yet to be an official announcement or clarification on the matter.

For now, it seems likely she had her account hacked. Many other K-Pop celebs have also have had their SNS accounts hacked in the past.

Jessica leaving the group is also strange since all nine members of Girls’ Generation renewed their contract with SM Entertainment for three years earlier this month. The group also just revealed their new Japanese song “Divine” which will be in their upcoming Japanese album “The Best.”

Before the shocking news of today, Jessica recently shared a picture set on the 26th, and also of Hyoyeon‘s birthday on 22nd.

An official statement on the matter will likely be released soon.

Update:

Jessica had left a reply to her initial post. It has since been deleted. She wrote, “You guys are very special people that I love dearly, therefore you deserve to hear the truth from me. I’m deeply saddened and hurt by those who I trusted and hope that you don’t ever have to experience this kind of pain.
