Finally, after news of a Chinese “Running Man” (“Run, Brother”) was confirmed earlier in May of this year, the Chinese version of the popular Korean variety show is set for launch on October 10.
The show is a collaborative effort between the Korean and Chinese production teams, and with a star-studded Chinese cast, including Deng Chao, Angelababy, Wang Bao Qiang, and others, the show has been garnering a lot of interest.
It’s being reported that Kim Jong Kook is set to make a guest appearance on the first episode, giving the new MCs some tips and tricks. However, from the teaser trailer for the first episode that was recently released, it looks like the entire Korean “Running Man” cast will be guest appearing on the show, going head-to-head with the Chinese cast.
The show will air every Friday at 9:10 p.m. local time on Zhejiang Satellite TV.
