BIGBANG star G-Dragon looks set to pen two songs for YG Entertainment’s new, as-yet-unnamed girl group. G-Dragon has previously exhibited his song-writing skills on BIGBANG releases, as well as his own solo material, but media sources are now widely reporting that he will be lending his talents to YG’s new project.
It also seems that YG has enlisted the talents of its main producer, Teddy (also known as Teddy Park) to work with the group’s debut release. Teddy has previously produced a slew of hits for the likes of 2NE1, BIGBANG and Seven.
As of yet, only two members of the new group have been unveiled: Kim Jisoo and Jennie Kim, who have appeared in G-Dragon and Epik High music videos.
Although the new YG girl group has been in the pipelines for several years now, recent reports have surfaced suggesting that the group is now “recording its debut” and could be unveiled as early as November this year.
