HIGH4‘s Sunggu recently shared a touching story about IU.

On the October 28 broadcast of the MBC Music variety show “Idol School,” Sunggu of the rookie group HIGH4 reminisced about the time when he teared up in front of IU who collaborated with the group on its debut track, “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms.”

“I spent my trainee days with IU. During that time, IU said, ‘If you debut, I’ll help you.’ And she was able to fulfill her promise through the music video of ‘Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms’ so I am so grateful,” shared HIGH4’s Sunggu, who shared that he later on cried buckets of tears when he went out with IU to drink.

IU has collaborated with the four-member group HIGH4 on the group’s debut track “Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms” by writing the lyrics to the song. Although IU has already penned a couple of her own songs, this is the first time that she has wrote for another artist.

Aside from writing the lyrics of the song, IU has also helped the group by appearing on their music video to support them on their debut.
