On November 5, Super Junior’s Donghae attended the press premiere for his upcoming movie “The Youth.”
During his interview with the press, Donghae revealed, “It’s an honor to be able to greet you on the big screen and even have a premiere. I really wanted to act. I continued to greet everyone through dramas. Honestly, I jumped into dramas because I liked acting, and I’ve always wanted to try [acting] in a movie.”
The Super Junior member also shared, “Since I was younger, I wanted to film a short film. It’s a genre I definitely wanted to do, and then I met director Kim Jin Moo. After hearing the theme of youth, I thought to myself that I have to [do this film]. Another thing I really wanted to try is acting in a school uniform. It’s truly an honor for me to fulfill those dreams.”
Donghae continued to open up about his desire and passion to act, saying, “I didn’t know the movie would actually premiere. I chose this production only because I enjoy acting. Filming was completed over a span of four days, which isn’t a very long time. Although it was cold, I was the happiest during that time.”
Meanwhile, “The Youth,” also starring 4Minute’s Nam Ji Hyun and FTISLAND’s Song Seung Hyun, is scheduled to premiere on November 13.
