It has been confirmed that actor Kang Ha Neul is making his debut on a live stage for his very first theater production.
Kang Ha Neul, who is currently starring in the tvN drama “Misaeng,” has also been cast to act for a live audience in the play titled “Harold & Maude.”
Despite his busy schedule three upcoming movie premieres for “C’est Si Bon,” “The Age of Innocence,” and “Twenty,” as well as being in the middle of filming for a drama, the actor has decided on the play casting due to his aspiration and passion for the stage.
The actor will be taking over the theater stage alongside actress Park Jung Ja, who is also known as the godmother of theater, with over 52 years of experience acting in plays.
SEM Company, Kang Ha Neul’s agency, revealed, “[The actor] says it is an honor to be able to act with great senior Park Jung Ja for his first theater production. This play will be an opportunity for him to grow as an actor.”
Kang Ha Neul will be taking on the role of Harold to Park Jung Ja’s Maude. The first show of “Harold & Maude” will be opening up at the start of next year in January.
