Actor Lee Jae Won is set to begin his period of compulsory military service.
The star is reporting to an army facility in Nonsan in South Chungcheong Province on December 4, where he will receive basic military training for a period of four weeks. Following this, he will serve the remainder of his duty in the national police force.
A spokesperson for Lee Jae Won’s talent agency, Tourtainment, announced, “As he has now finished work on the MBC drama series “My Spring Day,” he is supposed to begin his army service. He will start working again after he has been discharged.”
Lee Jae Won is known for his roles in a wide range of drama series and movies, and appeared in the movie “For the Emperor,” which was released this summer.
