Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon, the writing team behind “Tree with Deep Roots,” are making a comeback on SBS. Their new drama, titled (Working Title) “The Six Dragons Soar,” is scheduled to be released in August of next year and will air on Mondays and Tuesdays, according to a source associated with the network. The drama will deal with the dreams and aspirations of Yi Seong Gye and Jeong Do Jeon, two men who participated in the founding of the Joseon Dynasty.
The work is highly anticipated following the writing duo’s four-year writing hiatus after “Tree with Deep Roots.” Upon that drama’s completion, the pair participated in the production of dramas “Cheongdamdong Alice” and “Hyde, Jekyll, and I.” A lot of speculation surrounds the content of Kim and Park’s new drama, as the two have set themselves apart for the quality of their past works.
Filming for the drama is set to take place in cities across Gangwon-Do following a business agreement between the province and “The Six Dragons Soar’s” production team.
