At a press conference held on January 21 for his new mini album “SING SING SING,” Eddy Kim talked about his competition, namely fellow solo male artists like SHINee‘s Jonghyun, Mad Clown, and CNBLUE‘s Jung Yong Hwa.
Eddy Kim shared, “I have a clear target audience. I am the best at expressing my lyrics and music.” When asked what his target audience is, he caused laughter with his response, “Women.”
“SING SING SING,” which was released today, contains a total of six songs, title track “My Love,” “Apologize,” “Sing Sing Sing,” “Lovin’ You,” “Shower Girl,” and “Johwa (Funeral Flowers).”
“My Love” is an unapologetically sweet track that expresses a love that is more earnest and straightforward than the love that is talked about in Eddy Kim’s previous hits “Manual” and “Push & Pull.”
