As the new boy idol group iKON is working on their official debut song, their managing agency YG Entertainment revealed, “We will soon be sending out good news.”
“The members of iKON have been coming out to the recording studio day and night without any breaks,” a top official of YG told Star News. “Since it is their official debut song, they are putting in all of their effort into pulling it off.”
The official added, “There will soon be good news regarding their official debut song,” hinting that their debut is not far away.
Originally, YG was planning to debut iKON this month at the earliest. However, due to all of the careful and detailed work put into the song, it seems that their debut was pushed back. Fortunately, news of their constant work and YG’s message of their upcoming debut is giving fans hope that they will soon be seeing the group on the stage.
iKON is a group of seven, formed through the Mnet survival program, “MIX & MATCH”, which ended last November. They have already gained much popularity and attention, already gathering 7,000 people for their fan meeting prior to their debut.
They have also been selected by 28 pop song professionals as “Most Anticipated Signer of the Year,” along with EXID and IU.
