Crush and Zion. T have proven themselves to be the A team with their latest collaboration, “Just.”
Zion. T and Crush released their project album “Young” through numerous online music distributers and revealed the music video for their title song “Just” through Amoeba Culture’s official Youtube.
The two’s collaboration has been gaining much attention since its production stage. Not only are they known as a ticket to success when featuring in a song, but they are also talented solo artists with their own distinct colors. The two have already been known to share musical inspiration with each other in the past.
The album “Young” fits its name and realistically expresses the life of youths. The title song “Just” fits the identity of the album, shrugging off love or breakups with a simple “just.” The lyrical music, distinct voice tone of Zion T. and Crush, and artistic black and white filming of the music video all blend in to produce a unique and beautiful sound.
The song in general minimalizes the use of lyrics and fills in the gaps with light and soft melodies, portraying that words are not always needed to tell a story. They have succeeded in sharing a tale through music instead of a long line of words.
