After eight long years, Davichi finally has their own official fan club.
Davichi’s Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung recently discussed the creation of their new fan club, “Davichi Chord,” during an appearance on KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.” During the show, MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked why the group hadn’t had a fan club, to which Lee Hae Ri respnded, “I think we had a sort of fandom. A lot of people love our music. Maybe, because of that, there was never really a lot of attention given to creating a fan club. But now that we do have one, we even have a fan manager.”
When asked about the club’s name, Kang Min Kyung explained, “The name is ‘Davichi Chord.’ Of course, there’s the famous ‘Da Vinci Code’ movie and book, so when we tried the name at our concerts, fans really liked it.”
Davichi had previously surprised many when, after winning a first place trophy on MBC’s “Show! Music Core” last November, they revealed that they didn’t have an official fan club.
