Popular girl group Crayon Pop talked about their first meeting with Lady Gaga.
During an interview with Star News on April 6, they said, “We were rehearsing just before Lady Gaga’s first concert in Milwaukee, and a woman from below the stage cheered us on, yelling, ‘I love Crayon Pop!’ We thought it was a dancer at first but later on we realized that it was Lady Gaga herself.”
They explained, “She had no makeup on, so we didn’t recognize her at all. She shows such different sides of herself and uses thick makeup on stage. But at the time, she was a down-to-earth American woman dressed casually with her hair in a ponytail. She even looked innocent.” They added, “Afterwards, the staff told us that she was Gaga and that was when we approached her to thank her.”
Earlier, Crayon Pop opened Lady Gaga’s North American concert tour, “artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball” with an invitation by Lady Gaga herself.
