David Oh Confirmed to Debut in May After Recovering From Shingles

After a long wait, David Oh of MBC‘s “Star Audition” finally has a confirmed debut date.

According to the singer’s agency GON Entertainment on April 17, David Oh will release his first official album on May 11. He is finally debuting after his time on “Star Audition” four years ago.

On April 16, Star News reported that David Oh was originally expected to release his first digital-single in the middle of April and start his promotions that way, but couldn’t do so after getting the shingles last week. He underwent treatment and had to push back the release date after getting told that a hectic schedule may strain his body.

Now, David Oh promises to not let down his fans who’ve waited four years for him.

A representative from GON Entertainment states, “He’s been getting IV shots while completing a minimal amount of his schedule. He’s currently resting for tomorrow’s [April 18] free hug event in Daehangno and Hongdae. David Oh says not being able to see his fans hurts him more than the shingles right now.”

Meanwhile, David Oh rose to the top five in “Star Audition” on 2011 and signed with producer Bang Shi Hyuk‘s GON Entertainment and Management under Big Hit Entertainment.
