TVXQ’s 10 Year Japanese Debut Anniversary to Be Commemorated with Documentary

TVXQ, the Hallyu giants who are soon celebrating their 10-year debut anniversary in Japan, will be the center of a Japanese documentary to commemorate the occasion.

Multiple Japanese media said, “TVXQ’s 10-year anniversary close-up documentary will be aired on JapanTV. Starting at the end of this month, interviews and short clips will begin to air, and starting at the end of next month, the entire parts will air.”

While TVXQ has revealed their backstage interactions in the past, they have kept their personal lives hidden and a close-up documentary is very rare. This documentary will tell the story of their recent 5-dome tour, and in the interview, TVXQ will look back on their 10-year Japanese career and the times they struggled because they couldn’t speak the Japanese language. As always, they will also relay their thanks to their fans.

The three-part documentary is set to air on May 31, June 28, and July 26.

Meanwhile, TVXQ embarked on a 5-dome tour in japan starting at the Fukuoka Dome on February 6 and rounded the Tokyo Dome, Kyocera Dome, Nagoya Dome, and Sapporo Dome, successfully completing their second 5-dome tour. In particular, member Yunho indirectly mentioned his impending enlistment, saying, “It’s a bit sad since after this tour, we won’t be able to see each other at a solo TVXQ concert. But I think it’s important that we share good memories before I have to go, so I think today’s stage will reflect that TVXQ exists for the fans.” He then poured out his rare tears on stage, expressing his happiness in the moment.
