It has been revealed that the producer for American rock band Bon Jovi’s new album worked on Jung Joon Young Band’s upcoming record “OMG.”
According to label CJ E&M, “Famous producer Brian Howes personally worked on Jung Joon Young Band’s title track ‘OMG.’ Brian is currently in charge of the production of Bon Jovi’s new album. In the United States, he worked on Bon Jovi’s album, in Asia Jung Joon Young Band’s new song.”
Brian Howes has worked with a number of top rock bands in addition to Bon Jovi, including Daughtry, Boys Like Girls, and Nickelback. He co-wrote “OMG” with Jung Joon Young and band member DamnIt and produced the entire track himself.
“OMG” was recorded in Brian Howes’ home studio and worked on at the Paramount recording studio in LA. The session for “OMG” was composed of drummer Robin Diaz of Smashing Pumpkins, Brian Howes, and Jung Joon Young Band’s DamnIt.
Jung Joon Young Band commented, “As much as it is the band’s first album, we considered the music the most important. The cooperative work of the world’s best musicians on our new song ‘OMG’ has raised the bar of perfection on the sound.”
“OMG” is slated for release on May 27 at noon KST.
