KBS2TV’s “Superman Returns” maintains its position as the nation’s favorite Sunday afternoon variety show.
The show holds a tight grip on its spot despite experiencing a 0.7 percentage point decrease from last week’s 13.3 percent. According to ratings agency Nielsen Korea, the May 24 broadcast of “Superman Returns” attracted 12.6 percent of potential viewers, marking the show’s impressive 47th week above competition. This is also 0.1 percentage point above the latest “Happy Sunday” average of 12.5 percent.
Meanwhile, MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” experienced a bigger drop from 9.6 percent to 7.5 percent. SBS’ “Please Take Care of My Dad” placed third with 4.9 percent, which is also a decrease from its previous 5.5 percent.
