Park Ji Yeon, a member of the girl group GLAM, appeared on Mnet‘s hip hop survival show “Show Me the Money 4” and auditioned with a rap that she wrote about her hardships.
On the June 26 episode of “Show Me the Money 4,” Park Ji Yeon introduces herself as a former member of the girl group GLAM. The group unfortunately was thrust into spotlight when it was revealed that one of the members, Kim Da Hee, blackmailed actor Lee Byung Hun.
Park Ji Yeon explains why she decided to enter the contest, saying, “After the incident, GLAM disbanded. I had to earn money so I even worked at a restaurant.” She then adds, “I can’t quit music like this. I want to rap, so I entered.”
During her audition, Park Ji Yeon raps, “As GLAM’s leader, I hid and I lost my place to stand.” She also said, “Issue is ‘5 million blackmail girl,’ ‘forced right to silence.'”
While San E, one of the judges, compliments her by saying, “It was nice to see you say all the thoughts you wanted to,” in the end, she did not pass the auditions.
