SUMMER SONIC got a little more exciting with the participation of Epik High.
On August 17, YG said, “Epik High shared a stage with world stars like The Chemical Brothers, Pharell William, and Ariana Grande during Tokyo’s SUMMER SONIC, which was held on August 15 and 16. They made the large festival their own stage.”
This is Epik High’s first appearance at SUMMER SONIC, and their performance was held around their first Japanese best album “THE BEST OF EPIK HIGH ~SHOW MUST GO ON~.” They sang eight songs, including “BORN HATER,” “FLY ft. AMIN. J (from SOULCIETY),” “DON’T HATE ME.” To cool the heat of the passionate crowd in the scorching weather, the group also held surprise performances involving spraying water.
Meanwhile, Epik High successfully finished another club tour in Japan this year, and will once again meet fans on august 22 at Osaka’s “a-nation stadium fes.”
