G-Dragon and Taeyang’s Episode of “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” Surpasses 10% Rating

JTBC’s “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” is making history as its viewership rating passes 10 percent.

The episode of “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator” aired on August 31 reached its highest rating of 10.04 percent. It’s highest minute-by-minute rating reached 12.3 percent, which exceeds the prior highest ratings of 8.2 pecent from when BoA and Key appeared as guests.

In this episode, G-Dragon and Taeyang reveal their refrigerators. Taeyang’s refrigerator contains Korean based country food, contrary to his modern image.

Surprised, the MCs say, “You were born in ’88 but have the taste buds of someone from the class of ’88.”

Chef Oh Sae Deuk and Lee Won Il cook for the theme “Cold organic food,” while Chef Choi Hyun Seok and Sam Kim cook for the theme “Hot organic food.”

Meanwhile, “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” which first aired last November 17, has received the love of Korean viewers. It received third place for “Program Koreans Like the Most,” a survey released in August by Korea Gallup, and was awarded as “Food Show Most Liked by Koreans” as well.
