Actress Yoon Eun Hye‘s controversial coat, for which she has been swept up in plagiarism allegations, has been revealed to have received a staggering bid on Chinese fashion survival program “Goddess’ Fashion.”
Yoon Eun Hye is currently a contestant on the show, where she debuted a coat that fashion designer Yoon Choon Ho declared look suspiciously similar to his. The September 12 broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s “Entertainment Weekly” covered the recent controversy and revealed that Yoon Eun Hye’s coat had received the highest bid of 4.9 billion won ($4.13 million USD) for her piece. “Entertainment Weekly” also aired a clip from “Goddess’ Fashion,” which shows Yoon Eun Hye’s surprised but grateful reaction to the high bid she receives.
“Entertainment Weekly” also recently sought out Yoon Eun Hye’s management agency in order to speak to her in person, and the show only managed to speak with the agency’s building manager who shared, “It’s been a while since we’ve seen [Yoon Eun Hye] too. She doesn’t really come out here. She in fact hasn’t been here in a few days. Even when she does come, she just drops by for a short time in the evening or in the early morning.”
Meanwhile, Yoon Eun Hye has denied the plagiarism allegations and continued with filming for “Goddess’ Fashion” on September 9.
