YG’s rookie group iKON has revealed the name of their debut album’s second title track, “Apology.” YG uploaded the announcement on Twitter on November 11.
Hot on the heels of “My Type,” “Apology” is produced by YG main producer Teddy and Kush. While “My Type” was a medium tempo track, and the following single “Rhythm Ta” was hip-hop-oriented, “Apology” is said to be a slow R&B track about not being able to protect one’s lover.
Two title tracks, including “Apology,” will be released November 16. The first title track is “Anthem,” a hip-hop duet collaboration between members Bobby and B.I. iKON will be performing “Apology” on music programs.
iKON’s debut album, originally slated for a November 1 release, has been pushed back to December 14.
