The international response to B.A.P’s long-awaited comeback has been explosive! On November 25, the group’s agency, TS Entertainment, reported that their fourth mini-album “MATRIX” rose third place on Billboard’s World Album Chart.
The World Album Chart is based on album sales in North America through data collected by Nielsen SoundScan and only looks at songs released outside the U.S. and sung in a language other than English. B.A.P’s debut album “WARRIOR” previously charted at tenth place, while mini-albums “ONE SHOT” and “BADMAN” and their first full-length album “First Sensibility” had all risen to the first place spot. “MATRIX” was also fourteenth on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart the day after its release.
The mini-album holds special meaning for the group and their fans, as it was produced by member Bang Yong Guk and all the members took part in writing and composing. B.A.P is currently promoting their title track “Young, Wild & Free” on various music programs, with stages at KBS’ “Music Bank” and SBS’ “Inkigayo” planned for November 27 and 29 respectively.
