Actress Jun Ji Hyun reportedly purchased an additional residence in Samseong-dong last year, becoming an owner of real estate assets worth 40 billion won (approximately $33.1 million). In terms of current market value, Jun Ji Hyun now owns properties amounting to about 15 billion won (approximately $12.4 million) in Samseong-dong alone.
According to the March issue of women’s magazine “Woman Sense,” the actress purchased the two-story building last May, while two months pregnant, for 4.4 billion won (approximately $3.6 million) with Kim, the CEO of her agency, Culture Depot.
This is the actress’s most recent real estate acquisition after buying a Hyundai housing complex in Samseong-dong just 10 minutes away for 7.5 billion won (approximately $6.2 million) in June of 2014. Including the apartment complex that she used to live in before marriage, Jun Ji Hyun owns three properties counting just the ones in Samseong-dong.
In addition, her other assets include a five-story building in Nonhyeon-dong (purchased for 8.6 billion won (approximately $7.1 million) in October 2007) and a two-story building in Ichon-dong which she purchased for 5.8 billion won (approximately $4.8 million) in April 2013 (current market value of about 6.5 billion won (approximately $5.4 million)). Including her Daechi-dong villa, known to be her newlywed home, Jun Ji Hyun’s total real estate assets approach nearly 40 billion won (approximately $33.1 million). The Samseong-dong property mentioned in the recent issue of “Woman Sense” is her sixth real estate purchase reported in the media.
Meanwhile, Jun Ji Hyun is currently focusing on recovery and care after giving birth to a son.
