INFINITE‘s Sunggyu will stand on stage as a musical actor once more!
On April 8, Woolim Entertainment confirmed that Sunggyu has been cast in the musical “All Shook Up,” and will have his character poster photo shoot on April 10. Moving forward, he plans on steadily preparing for his musical comeback.
Sunggyu’s first musical role was in “Gwanghwamun Sonata,” back in 2012. Since then, he’s starred in the Japanese production of “Vampire,” and in last year’s “In the Heights.” He shows growth with every production, and many are looking forward to Sunggyu’s latest musical endeavor.
“All Shook Up” is a jukebox musical that incorporates 24 of Elvis Presley‘s hit songs. It uses motifs from Shakespearean classics as its foundation to describe the commotion of the complicated love story that cross-dressing Natalie, Chad, Dennis, and Sandra find themselves entangled in.
Since his debut in 2010 as INFINITE’s leader and main vocal, Sunggyu has shown off his versatility and talents as a singer, with two solo albums, “Another Me” and “27,” under his belt.
