MBC has confirmed that Jackson and BamBam will be part of a cast of eight men who will be getting a military experience on “Real Men” soon.
The rest of the next season’s line up includes former basketball player Woo Ji Won, former major league baseball player Park Chan Ho, comedian twins Lee Sang Ho and Lee Sang Min, and actors Ryu Seung Soo and Jo Jae Yoon. The cast are starring in a special season with the theme of “Enlisting Together,” as they are all enlisting in pairs to reflect the real military system in which friends or brothers can enlist together.
A source from MBC says, “The ‘Enlisting Together’ special will start filming in the beginning of May. It has not yet been decided which unit they will be enlisting with.”
This may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Hong Kong-born Jackson and Thailand-born BamBam, as neither are South Korean citizens and therefore are not required to serve two years in the military. The pair recently starred together on JTBC’s variety show “Where Is My Friend’s Home?”.
