On June 6, Epik High’s Tablo posted a series of tweets, apologizing to the group’s fans for making them wait so long for a new album to be released. Epik High’s last album, “Shoebox,” was released back in 2014.
Since then, while the group has been active in holding various concerts worldwide, and even recently performed at Coachella, the rapper is still apologetic to all his fans.
“We’ve been working on our next album for almost two years now… created and destroyed so many songs. By the time we complete this, we’ll have thrown away many albums to get to one. [It’s] not efficient, not sensible. We know but just can’t help it. It gets harder every time. Sorry to make you wait every time.”
In response to his messages, many fans reassure him that they’re patiently waiting, and know that the group is doing their absolute best to bring out quality music.
Meanwhile, Epik High recently wrapped up their 2016 Japanese tour, and will hold a series of smaller scale concerts in Korea at the end of July.
