Boy group BTS is on the verge of breaking a million copies in album sales!
The group’s management agency Bighit Entertainment revealed on June 13 that according to data from the Gaon May monthly chart, BTS’s “Young Forever” (released on May 2) has thus far sold a total of 310,243 copies. According to the same standard, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1” (released on April 29 of last year) has sold 274,351 copies, and “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2” (released on November 11 of last year) has sold 351,413 copies.
A rep from BigHit Entertainment comments, “It’s only been a month since the special album was released. When you take into account the sales that will come from the Asia tour, which is being held until August, we predict that BTS will soon be able to break a million copies [in sales].”
Meanwhile, BTS is currently on tour in Asia. The group’s next stop is Studio City Event Center in Macau on June 18.
