Global idol group EXO achieves another stellar accomplishment with their recent collaboration with Naver’s V App, “EXOMENTARY Live.
According to SM Entertainment’s statements on July 4, “EXOMENTARY Live” marked over 1 million in content purchases, which refers to digital content or services that were specifically accessed through mobile internet.
Over the past month, since the start of their promotions for their third full album “EX’ACT,” EXO held livestream broadcasts for their comeback stage, a bowling competition, and 15 other individual broadcasts with themes chosen by the members themselves. During these broadcasts, which were jointly aired through Naver (V App) and Chinese streaming site YinYueTai, the members were able to show off more intimate sides of themselves as they interacted with the fans.
EXO has been achieving other records during this promotional era as well, with multiple music show wins, topping music charts, and selling over 660,000 albums. They will also be the first artist to hold six consecutive solo concerts at Seoul Olympic Stadium’s Gymnastics Arena, as they recently added an additional concert date on July 22.
