According to the July report from the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, TWICE has taken the No. 1 spot in brand reputation among girl groups.
In second place is Wonder Girls, cementing JYP Entertainment’s domination of the commercial sector. SISTAR, I.O.I, and AOA took No. 3, 4, and 5 respectively.
In the graph below, the communication, community, and participation scores are represented by bars and the scores are added to give the purple dots.
A representative of the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation said, “As the number of girl group comebacks increases, there is an upsurge in big data for girl group brand reputation and the interest of the consumer increases. Girl group brand consumption depends on media consumption rate more than going viral.”
The survey was based on data collected between June 8 and July 9.
