The Korean Business Research Institute revealed their data and ranking for boy group brand power for July (from June 7, 2016 to July 8, 2016). The research institute gathered 28,376,267 pieces of data (participation, communication, and reputation indexes) which is a 3.08 percent increase compared to the 27,529,026 pieces of data gathered for June.
Data was collected from consumers’ online habits and the influence of brand on consumption. Brand power rankings were determined by positive negative assessments, level of media interest, as well as the interest and communication traffic from consumers.
BTS came in first place with 1,727,800 for participation and 2,872,485 for communication resulting in a total of 4,600,285 for brand reputation.
Second place goes to SEVENTEEN with a total of 3,880,551. Third is BEAST who enjoyed a 151.42 percent increase with 3,548,519.
The July ranking for brand power is as follows: BTS, SEVENTEEN, BEAST, BIGBANG, EXO, Shinhwa, INFINITE, VIXX, SHINee, BTOB, Block B, Sechs Kies, WINNER, JYJ, Super Junior, TVXQ, MONSTA X, B1A4, 2PM, Teen Top, FTISLAND, 2AM, B.A.P, and ZE:A.
