Currently, the hashtag “Jang Hyunseung Thank You For Leaving” (#장현승_탈퇴해줘서_고마워) is trending on Twitter in Korea.
The hashtag refers to people being happy that the member left group BEAST. It all started with the most recent episode of Mnet’s “Hit the Stage” where Jang Hyunseung is seen brainstorming and practicing with his dance crew.
Jang Hyunseung expressed his desire to wear thick padding for the dance. As a result, some dance crew members insert toilet paper rolls to mimic the padding to show the singer what it would look like. Viewers noticed that the dance looks like BEAST’s dance for their song “Ribbon.” Some claimed that they appear to be mocking BEAST.

This lead to fans leaving posts on Jang Hyunseung’s Instagram requesting an explanation. The singer apparently responded to an individual with a middle finger emoticon.
All of this lead to netizens spreading and trending the hashtag. The singer is currently receiving a lot of criticism for mocking BEAST as well as his general attitude and behavior.
Jang Hyunseung has yet to address this matter directly. However, it appears as though he liked an Instagram post talking about the trending tweet that tagged him.
Now the hashtag “BEAST Truly Thank You And Love You” (#비스트_정녕_고맙고_사랑해) is trending.
