MAMAMOO is edgier and better than ever in their new comeback with “Décalcomanie!”
The music video plays on the theme of old Hollywood and James Bond, with the members dressed up in glamorous black dresses or suits and twinning each other through the mirror. The girls play a teasing game with a mysterious man before they go after what they want with MAMAMOO’s trademark bold, brassy sound.
“Décalcomanie” is a French term that refers to an artistic practice of transferring a design on paper to another surface such as pottery, but is often used in Korean to refer to things that are alike.
“Décalcomanie” is the title track off their fourth mini-album, “Memory.” All the members participated in the composition and writing of one or more songs on the album. The album includes their digital single “New York” as well as their subunit tracks “Angel” and “Dab Dab.”
