On the January 7 episode of SBS’s “Baek Jong Won’s Three Great Emperors,” BTS’s Jin shared a story about his year-long diet.
When asked about his meals, Jin answered, “It feels like I caught and ate thousands of chickens. Chicken breast packs usually contain two pieces. The only thing I ate were two packs of chicken breast per day for an entire year.”
Actress Lee Si Young and comedian Kim Joon Hyun looked on with disbelief after hearing Jin’s extreme diet plan. Lee Si Young then responded, “If you lose weight that fast, then you’ll crave food even more.”
It seems like Lee Si Young was right, because Jin shared another interesting story: “I went to eat samgyeopsal (slices of pork belly meat) with actor Lee Won Geun. We ate 12 servings of meat with six bowls of rice. For dessert, we even ate naengmyeon (cold noodles).”
While everyone else on the set was shocked, Kim Joon Hyun was unimpressed and asked, “Am I suppose to be surprised by that?” and immediately caused laughter.
“Baek Jong Won’s Three Great Emperors” airs every Saturday at 6:10 p.m. KST on SBS.
