On February 2’s episode of Mnet’s “Golden Tambourine,” singer Jo Kwon impressed everyone with a solo performance of EXO’s “Growl”!
Before his performance, he told the audience, “I want to prove that I can be a dancer,” and revealed that he had prepared a boy group’s song instead of a girl group’s for this round.
During the first verse, Jo Kwon wore a school uniform and did a great job at recreating EXO’s choreography. As expected, Jo Kwon then gave his own twist to the song by quickly changing into a cheetah costume for the second verse to fit with the “growl” theme.
His great performance received a score of 95 out of 100, and it made the opposing team acknowledge Jo Kwon’s talent by saying, “This is too hard [to beat].”

After the show, Jo Kwon also shared a video of himself rehearsing the dance on Instagram. He wrote on Twitter, “It was hard to do ‘Growl’ all on my own, but I’m an idol too!”
