The actor recently made a guest appearance on the February 5 episode of popular KBS music show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” when he was asked if he’s ever imagined being in an idol group.
“I’ve actually thought about it before,” he admitted. “BIGBANG is a really cool group, but I came to the realization that I wouldn’t be a good fit. Instead, I think I match better with SM, particularly a group like TVXQ.”
Fans probably should not expect Ji Chang Wook to be making his K-pop debut any time soon though. When asked if he could dance earlier in the episode, he made an honest confession.
“People around me have insisted that I don’t,” he added, bashfully poking fun at his skills. However, host Yoo Hee Yeol still challenged him to try, and Ji Chang Wook made the audience laugh by dancing to a hip-hop track.
Ji Chang Wook also showed off his singing voice in the episode by performing Kim Dong Ryul’s “Like a Child”, an OST medley, and his “Healer” OST “I Will Protect You” while playing the keyboard (with Yoo Hee Yeol later taking over).
Can you imagine Ji Chang Wook in an idol group?
