GOT7 graced the April edition of fashion magazine W Korea and sat down for an interview about their new album “Flight Log: Arrival.”
Mark started off saying, “I’m both excited and nervous about how fans will react. I hope people think it’s a nice ending, since it’s the last album in our ‘Flight Log’ trilogy. Also, I hope our fans will enjoy it more than anyone else.”
Then, JB opened up about his goals for this album. “Results are also important, but I’m satisfied with just being able to wrap up promotions without any problems. For me, it’s important that I feel proud of my achievements and be happy. I want to continue on without forgetting that feeling.”
One noteworthy fact about GOT7’s newest album “Flight Log: Arrival” is that all seven members participated in composing or writing lyrics for the songs. Youngjae, who participated in composing and writing “Sign,” explained, “I made it so that each member would get the part that fits them best, and I inserted commonly used phrases in the rap lyrics. The song will sound even better if you focus on how each person’s characteristics come to life.”
Asked about their goals as GOT7, Jinyoung replied, “I want one of the songs made solely by our members to get chosen as the title track. It would be great to express our intentions and thoughts as if we were writers for a theatrical work.”
Meanwhile, GOT7 recently returned after six months with “Never Ever.” Check out their music video!
