We’re one step closer to seeing former I.O.I members Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon back on stage again.
On March 22, V LIVE’s official Twitter account announced the opening of i-Teen Girls’s V Live channel, and the page featured an image of Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon linking arms, along with six other mystery members.

A source from Fantagio Entertainment also revealed that the agency is currently planning a summer debut for the new girl group. They explained, “We don’t have a set date yet. ‘i-Teen’ is a temporary name for the group and is supposed to reflect that the members are Fantagio trainees in their teens. Their official group name will be decided at a later date.”
The number of members in the group may also change in the future. The source stated, “For now, there are set to be eight members, including Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon, as can be seen on the group’s new V Live channel. We still have not decided on the final schedule or member roster. The other members are trainees who have not made their debut yet.”
The wait to get more information on the group is set to be lessened by the fact that a reality show detailing Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon’s trip to the U.S. will be released on April 7.
