“Circle” is planning to air a preview special ahead of the drama’s first episode.

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Circle: Two Worlds Connected” will be airing its “Circle: The Beginning” episode on May 16 at 11 p.m. KST. The special is expected to raise anticipation for the new drama, and will be narrated by Kim Kyung Shik, who is known as the god of introducing movies in Korea.

“Circle” is a sci-fi thriller that is divided into two parts, “Part 1: Beta Project” and “Part 2: An Amazing New World,” that take place in 2017 and 2037 respectively.  It is not a time-slip storyline, but is actually a “double-track” drama that will show stories in two different generations in the same episode. The drama will feature appearances by Yeo Jin Goo, Gong Seung Yeon, Kim Kang Woo, and Highlight’s Lee Gi Kwang.

“Circle: The Beginning” will air on May 16 at 11 p.m. KST, and the first episode of “Circle” will air on May 22 at 11 p.m. KST.
