Ock Joo Hyun has taken to social media to commemorate the 19th anniversary of Fin.K.L.
The idol-turned-music actress took to her Instagram account on May 12 to post various photos with captions like “Fin.K.L’s 19th anniversary, coming-of-age celebration, Friday.”
Fin.K.L is a four-member girl group of Ock Joo Hyun, Lee Hyori, Sung Yuri, and Lee Jin that released their first album “Fine Killing Liberty” on May 25, 1998. They made their mark as a legendary girl group in Korea with songs like “To my boyfriend,” “Eternal Love,” “Now,” and “Eternity.”
Though they have never announced an official disbandment, they have not been active as a group since they released their fourth album after their contract ended in 2002. The members got together to release an album titled “Forever Fin.K.L” in 2005, but did not partake in any promotional activities.
With the return of popular first generation idol groups like SECHSKIES and S.E.S in the past year, many are interested to see if Fin.K.L will return as well.
