Jo Sung Wook, a trainee from “Produce 101 Season 2” who left the show after the first round of eliminations, has become the first contestant from the show to sign an advertisement deal.
On May 22, Jo Sung Wook’s agency, OUI Entertainment, released a statement saying, “After his elimination from ‘Produce 101 Season 2,’ one of our trainees, Jo Sung Wook, very fortunately received an offer for an advertisement deal, which will make him the first trainee from the show to do so.”
Jo Sung Wook received attention from viewers for his clean and neat image through the show. Furthermore, unlike many of the other trainees on the show who have had long training periods, Jo Sung Wook had only been a trainee for two months before appearing on the show. Despite his short training period, Jo Sung Wook was able to smoothly pull off the choreography for SEVENTEEN’s “Mansae” in the group evaluations a few weeks ago.
Jo Sung Wook left the country on May 20 for the shoot and said, “I was very regretful when I was eliminated from ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ and will use this advertisement shoot as an opportunity to show fans a more impressive side to myself.”
