On May 24 KST, VIXX released a preview for “2017 VIXX Company,” a video that was supposed to commemorate the group’s recent 5th anniversary. The preview announced that the full video would come later that day at 5 p.m.

However, the full video is currently not available anywhere on the channel.

Screenshots online and on social media soon garnered attention and controversy due to swear words that VIXX’s Ken had apparently written in a sketchbook during the video. This was speculated to be the reason that VIXX had quickly taken down the full video, leaving only the preview on the channel.

On May 25, Jellyfish Entertainment issued an apology stating, “We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the broadcasting of inappropriate phrases during the ‘VIXX Company’ video. We were careless in releasing the video without proper editing. We apologize again for these actions that would have been inappropriate in any setting. The video has currently been removed so that it will not spread further. We will be more careful in the future.”

Meanwhile, VIXX is currently promoting their latest comeback, “Shangri-La.”

Edits: A previous version of this article contained an error in the title of the video. In addition, the edited video has since been reuploaded to the channel.
