The five trainees from Yuehua Entertainment who competed on “Produce 101 Season 2” recently shared some insights on their fellow contestants as they revealed who they would have chosen as their favorite!
During a recent interview, the guys were asked if they had a favorite trainee from “Produce 101 Season 2” that would have gained their vote if they hadn’t been on the show themselves. Ahn Hyung Seob replied, “If I had been a viewer rather than a contestant, there are a few people that I’ve thought I would have been a fan of. If I had to name my ‘one pick,’ I’d pick Kang Daniel.”
“I think Kang Daniel has a magnetism about him, even as a guy myself,” he continued. “He’s charming and when I first met him in the group of level A trainees, I thought that he’d do well. When we were rehearsing for ‘Get Ugly,’ Kang Daniel was the leader. He took care of me and would wait for me if I ate late. I was really moved, and it’s too bad that I wasn’t able to express how thankful I am. That’s why he’s my ‘one pick.’”
Lee Eui Woong chose Jung Se Woon, whom he shared a room with and practiced together with for their “Oh Little Girl” performance. “When I first met him, I thought he was quiet and had a calm personality,” Lee Eui Woong said. “But as I became friends with him, I realized he was really fun. He does little dances, says funny things, and jokes around. The more you know him, the more charming he is. He’s also kind.”
Jung Jung chose Ahn Hyung Seob, explaining that he works really hard. “He’s also charming,” he added. “If I were to pick just one person, it would be him.” Ahn Hyung Seob joked in reply, “I’ll buy you something delicious.”
Choi Seung Hyuk chose contestant Lai Guan Lin as his “one pick.” He explained, “I’m friends with him, but he’s really handsome. At first I thought he was someone who was lacking in skill but handsome, but as time went on, he improved.” He added that considering how much Lai Guan Lin improved in terms of his dancing and vocal skills during the show, he thinks that he will be really great in the future if he keeps it up.
Lastly, Justin picked contestant Choi Min Ki (NU’EST’s Ren). “We did ‘Replay’ together. He treated me really well, practiced really hard, and was handsome, so I thought he would for sure do well,” he explained.
