Former JYP trainee and “Sixteen” contestant Natty opened up about why she left the agency in the first episode of Mnet’s “Idol School.”
On July 13, the much anticipated reality show “Idol School” premiered, and an entrance ceremony was held for the 41 new students.
One of the students was Natty, whom many of the students recognized from JYP’s survival audition “Sixteen.”
Natty teared up as she revealed her reason for leaving the agency, saying, “I had to do well to fulfill high expectations, but it was so frustrating because I couldn’t.”
Even though she almost gave up, Natty explained her reason behind joining “Idol School.” She shared, “I felt strange as I put away my ambition. I felt so sorry seeing my parents cry when I returned to Thailand. I was sorry that I gave up.”
Meanwhile, the student pool for “Idol School” consists of several former trainees from well-known agencies. The show airs every Thursday on Mnet and tvN.
