The agency of “Produce 101 Season 2’s” trainees Lim Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun released a word of warning to fans who showed obsessive behavior.
On July 18, Rhymer, the head of Lim Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun’s agency Brand New Music, took to Instagram to inform fans against intrusive fan activity.
He started the statement by writing, “Thank you to all the fans who love and support trainees Im Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun.”
Rhymer went on to explain, “Recently, an exceeding number of fans have been visiting the office of Brand New Music and dorms of the trainees. Due to this, neighbors have been filing complaints. For the safety of our trainees and before this problem expands, we are sending out a word of warning.”
He then requested, “From now on, we will react immediately against all activities by sasaeng fans, so please stop paying personal visits to our trainees.” He warned, “If you ignore this warning, we inform that you may be excluded from future fan club activities, concert support, and more.”
Rhymer also notified, “All support through the agency is prohibited. Please be aware that we cannot forward any letters or gifts to our trainees.”
Rhymer’s concern for the trainees showed through his last words as he ended the statement saying, “Our agency will continue to protect the safety and personal lives of our trainees. We plead you not to share any photos or videos shot by sasaeng fans as well.”
Meanwhile, Lim Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun are preparing for their debut with a unit album scheduled for release in late August. Their debut song will be pre-released in late July.
