The debut of the nation’s latest boy group blew everyone off their feet as the whole K-pop world felt the impact of Wanna One. Countless music show wins, highest viewership ratings of shows they’ve appeared in, and tons of new dedicated fans. There’s no denying that the new group, made up of the top 11 trainees from “Produce 101 Season 2,” is definitely a success. Thanks to the boys’ adorable personalities, Wannables are full of memorable moments, inside jokes, and could name at least 101 reasons to stan Wanna One.
Every member has his own charm and it would be a shame to miss out on their cutest/craziest/sexiest moments, so here are just a few of our favorite #justwannaonethings!
Kang Daniel’s resemblance to Apeach
There are just so many things to love about Daniel, but how could we not mention his similarity to the Kakaotalk character, Apeach? The magic worked best when his hair was still peach-colored, but the resemblance is still undeniable today! Isn’t this the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
Park Ji Hoon’s endless aegyo
Poor Ji Hoon probably regrets doing his first “jeojang” a million times already; he admitted to doing his legendary line about 3,500 times, but the fans are still hungry for his cuteness! It’s impossible not to fall for his “gugu gaga,” either. Who are we kidding, even his wink is driving everyone crazy!
Lee Dae Hwi’s fabulous English
Our L.A. boy is the savior of all international Wannables, as he never hesitates to greet us in English. His accent is simply the greatest thing ever and we could listen to him singing English songs probably all day, every day. Give it up for our English king, David!
Kim Jae Hwan’s hysteric laugh
Wanna One’s self-proclaimed main vocal, main visual, main rapper, main dancer, and main fashionista sure knows how to bring attention to himself. His laugh is loud AF and sounds lowkey maniacal, but it’ll put a smile on your face without a doubt.
Ong Sung Woo’s extraness
He might look charismatic and sexy on stage, but Ong Sung Woo is “jeongmal, jeongmal, jinjja, real, daebak, heol, wanjeon” the definition of being extra. His variety skills are beyond amazing and he is able to make everything funny, whether he’s folding his ears or singing about being hungry while wearing a face mask.
Park Woo Jin’s dark past
It would be easy to write a novel about Woo Jin’s snaggletooth alone, but we couldn’t let his embarrassing pre-debut photos pass. These pictures need no further explanation. Woo Jin definitely deserves the “Nation’s Dark Past” title.
Lai Guan Lin’s lines in “Fear”
Our giant maknae declared his goal of becoming a “Swaggy Rapper” right at the start of “Produce 101 Season 2” and his dreams have come true! It’s hard to forget his epic lines in “Fear” and we can clearly see his huge improvement since the first days. Let’s keep supporting the Taipei prince!
Yoon Ji Sung’s signature clapping
It was easy to become attached to Wanna One’s leader, Yoon Ji Sung on “Produce 101 Season 2.” His random comments, crazy facial expressions, and real emotions made him extremely lovable. Even his clapping was something extraordinary and every other trainee seemed to become influenced by him.
Hwang Min Hyun’s legendary booty dance
Being the ultimate boyfriend material that he is, Min Hyun sure knows how to shake that booty! Emperor Hwang makes even the lamest dance moves look cool, and there’s no chance he would lose a dance battle against anyone.
Bae Jin Young’s adorably small face
Bae Jin Young’s face is so amazingly small that it was once compared to a piece of bread. He even managed to cover all his features with this huge lollipop. He really looks like he came straight out of a manhwa!
Ha Sung Woon’s SpongeBob imitations
There’d be no need to worry if one day every member of SpongeBob’s Korean dubbing team became sick: Sung Woon would be here to save the day! He is ready to imitate almost every SpongeBob character voice and his dialogues are always on point.
